Leona Lewis LLEWIS031808_01.jpg Leona Lewis may be a relatively new name for most American audiences - but it sounds like the labels expect her to stick around for a good long while!

The Daily Star is reporting that the chart-topping singer will soon be signed to a contract valued at fifty million pounds sterling - or one hundred million dollars!

The contract, if signed, will instantly make Lewis the highest-paid female artist on earth. Even Madonna "only" got $80 million to move to Live Nation!

Of course, after the world-conquering success of "Bleeding Love", it's hard to call the label heads' fervor unjustified - after all, that track's already gone to number one in twenty different countries!

Furthermore, the deal isn't just for albums - the Star claims that it'll be a comprehensive deal including Leona's TV specials and potential DVD releases. Sounds like they're planning on turning Leona into a commodity - not that they'll need much help!

What do you think - is Leona worth all the loot?
