We've been hearing the rumors for awhile, but the CW network has made it official: they've ordered a pilot of a revamped Melrose Place.

The updated version of the '90s drama will stay true to the original with a cast of young beautiful people living in an apartment building in a hip LA neighborhood.

So far a cast hasn't been announced, but it's a pretty safe bet that at least one of the original stars will be moving back into the old neighborhood.

The network is reportedly trying to get Heather Locklear to join the cast, and Lisa Rinna and Grant Show have said they would love to be considered for the new series.
