Nadya "Octomom" Suleman is teaming up with animal rights group PETA for a good cause ... and for some extra cash.

The mother of octuplets will be unveiling a sign on her front lawn tomorrow that reads, "Don't Let Your Dog or Cat Become an 'Octomom' - Always Spay or Neuter."

Suleman was offered $5,000 and a month's worth of free veggie dogs and veggie burgers for the whole family if she'd display the sign in front of her La Habra home.

Sources tell X17online it took a while to nail down the offer "because Nadya's attorneys were trying to get more money for the sign."

A PETA spokesperson tells X17online exclusively:

"Too many dogs and cats are 'octomoms,' and while there's a lot of controversy regarding Ms. Suleman's decision to use in vitro fertilization, there's no question that the breeding of cats and dogs is killing cats and dogs. What better way to get the message out about saving dogs and cats than displaying a big pro-sterilization banner on one of the most-watched front lawns in the U.S.?"

X17 has learned that there will be someone in a dog costume at the unveiling to show support for Nadya. We have a feeling it won't be the father of the octuplets ...
