Britney Spears was in high spirits today - the Glee-ful mom stopped by court earlier this morning before picking up son Jayden James (he was lucky enough to get Mickey D's for lunch) and heading over to children's fitness center My Gym in Encino. Smiles all around!

Meanwhile, the pop star did in fact attend her progress hearing today but the conservatorship remains in full effect. Still it seems odd that Britney would make an appearance in court after not doing so for so long. She definitely must be aching to take control of her life again!
