Between Inception bringing in a whopping $825 million and Shutter Island's earnings, DiCaprio's movies raked in $1.1 billion at the global box office. DiCaprio will earn at least $50 million for his work on Inception alone, courtesy of a deal he struck for a share of first-dollar gross points.

Next on the list is actress Mia Wasikowska, who ties for second place with her Alice In Wonderland co-star Johnny Depp. Tim Burton's film was the second highest earning movie this year, bringing in $1.03 billion at the box office. Wasikowska also starred in the Golden Globe nominated flick The Kids Are All Right, which has earned an estimated $29 million at the global box office. Of course, Depp's other movie this year, The Tourist, had earned $29 million to date, putting both stars neck and neck.

Robert Downey Jr. ranks fourth with $808 million thanks to Iron Man 2 and Due Date, and Daniel Radcliffe is in fifth place with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 earning $780 million at the global box office.
