gwynethrecorddeal230.jpgAfter a string of musical performances, including one last night on the Oscars, Gwyneth Paltrow may be putting her acting career on hold to record an album.

“We’re talking about it now,” Gwyneth told Access Hollywood about a possible record deal. “So, we’ll see.”

Gwyneth first displayed her musical prowess in the film Duet, where she sang a duet (natch) with Huey Lewis. Earlier this year, she played a fallen country music star in Country Strong, singing not only the title song from the film, but also a slew of other singles, including the Oscar nominated “Coming Home,” which she performed on the telecast last night.

But Paltrow may have reached her largest audience by appearing as a singing substitute teacher, Holly Holiday on Glee, which prompted a duet with Cee-Lo of his smash hit, "F**k You." Paltrow is reprising the role in an upcoming episode on March 8th.
