Lady GaGa KILLED IT on iTunes chart Friday with her new single Born This Way in just a few hours. Way to go Gaga!
So far America, Austria, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Mexico, The Netherlands, Ireland, Finland, Canada, Greece, Switzerland, and Belgium all went Gaga over the new single.
We have full confidence the Lady's upcoming album will dominate, but we have to wonder if all the drama over the Poker Face singer's single sounding similar to one of Madonna's own songs made fans want to listen that much more?

Since Lady Gaga's single dropped Friday morning, fans have begun to claim it's a rip-off of Madonna's 1989 hit Express Yourself. American Idol Season 5 finalist Chris Daughtry Tweeted: "Just listened to a clip of Lady Gaga Born This Way and I gotta say...sounds a lot like "Express Yourself" from Madonna. Thoughts?"
