odomface230WM.jpgThe Los Angeles Lakers have been eliminated from the playoffs after losing 98 - 92 to the Dallas Mavericks. Forward Lamar Odom says the team lost because they didn't have a "cohesive bond."

Odom was whistled for a flagrant foul after blindsiding Mav's Dirk Nowitzki with 9:06 remaining in the fourth.

Odom tells the Los Angeles Times:

"I was a little embarrassed. I went to fill the rim out [with the free throw attempt], they were already up 30 [when Nowitzki batted the ball away] and I didn't mean anything by it."

Lakers coach Phil Jackson had the following to say about Lamar's fouls.

"I wasn't happy with the way our players exited the game on Lamar and Andrew's part. It was unnecessary, but I know they were frustrated and Barea was one of the guys that really frustrated us today."
