PDOHERTY101507_01y.jpgTroubled musician Pete Doherty will serve 6 months in jail after pleading guilty to cocaine possession in London on Friday.

During the hearing, Judge David Radford told the rocker, "You have an appalling record of committing offences of the kind for which you fall to be sentenced today."

The charge stemmed from his arrest last March, when the Babyshambles frontman was suspected of providing drugs to Robyn Whitehead, a 27-year-old heiress working on a documentary about the musician, who was incidentally found dead from a suspected overdose.

During a search of Whitehead's London apartment, cops found film footage showing Doherty smoking crack, shot just two days before her death. The Babyshambles front-man was immediately arrested by police investigating her death.

Kate Moss' ex was reportedly working on a comeback album, and was in the midst of planning a UK tour.
