This is no yacht, people! Angelina Jolie is barefoot and makeup-free on a wooden boat in Cambodia's Siem Reap province in a new ad for luxury leather goods brand Louis Vuitton.

AJOLIE080104_002_bag.jpgNext to Jolie sits a monogrammed Alto bag -- a style no longer in production. The brand's executive VP, Pietro Beccari, claims its Jolie's own bag and WWD reports he even showed off a few paparazzi photos of the actress with the tote that prove she's owned it for at least six years.

Well X17 can one-up Mr. Beccari, as we dug up this 2004 shot of Jolie at the Santa Monica airport, ready for a flight class, carrying her Alto bag (which is a bit shorter with wider straps, than the one in the ad) out onto the tarmac.

The French label's Core Values campaign launched in 2007 as a way to highlight celebrities' personal travel experiences.

Jolie was introduced to the southeast Asian country in 2000 when she filmed Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. She fell in love with the country and went back to adopt her first son Maddox in 2002. In fact, he came back with her for this shoot and, according to Annie Liebowitz, the famed photographer who shot the campaign, she had to shoo away the four children Jolie brought with her on the trip so she could get the shot, according to WWD.

"People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation,” said Beccari. "I like the fact that it’s a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand."

The ads are expected to run for 18 months and Jolie reportedly donated an "undisclosed portion" of her multi-million-dollar fee to charity.
