Emma Watson may lead a charmed life thanks to the megabucks she's made from the Harry Potter franchise, but the actress tells The Sunday Times Style Magazine that it can be lonely at the top.
Though Watson, 21, has become quite the crush-worthy star (the pretty actress has been in campaigns for Burberry, Chanel and now Lancome), she says she rarely gets asked out.
Watson says that not only do chaps avoid her -- they're sometimes mean!
The actress adds that she's currently single which, after all that, isn't much of a surprise! She also spoke to the mag about her brief time at Brown University and why she left. See what she said after the jump.
Watson enrolled at Brown University in September 2009, but in March of this year announced that she would be taking time off. She says life at school was just too difficult.Though Watson, 21, has become quite the crush-worthy star (the pretty actress has been in campaigns for Burberry, Chanel and now Lancome), she says she rarely gets asked out.
- "I say to my friends, 'Why hasn't X called me? Why doesn't anyone ever pursue me?' They're like, 'Probably because they're intimidated.' It must be the fame wall, It must be the circus that goes around me. Me, as a person, I find it hard to believe I would be intimidating."

- "Sometimes, maybe because they feel intimidated, they feel they have to knock me down. They know perfectly well who I am, but they'll ask me, 'How are the Narnia films going?'"

- "I was in denial. I wanted to pretend I wasn't as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I'm in and what happened."
Ironically, Watson next stars on the big screen in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She must relate!
The final Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, is out July 15.
