Pop star Sean Kingston is walking on his own about a week after a personal watercraft crash left him in intensive care.
Kingston, 21, has been upgraded to serious condition at Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to his publicist. He walked around for the first time Monday morning.
The singer suffered a broken jaw, fractured wrist and water in his lungs. He is expected to take a few months to recover. His life jacket fell off during the crash -- passersby had to rescue the singer.
Kingston was driving a Sea Doo personal watercraft (similar to a Jet Ski) when he crashed into a Miami bridge on May 29. A female passenger, age 23, was also hospitalized. Kingston had bought the Sea Doo only a few days before.
