Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's son Christopher, 13, has been released from UCLA's medical center.
Shriver Tweeted on Tuesday:
- "Blessed to be able to take Christopher out of the hospital last night. What a feeling of relief to know that he's going to be fine."
Dad Arnold took to Twitter after his estranged wife, saying:
- "I knew Christopher couldn't be stopped! Big thanks to all the doctors, nurses & staff at UCLA that helped him recover."
Christopher had been hospitalized for more than a week after suffering a collapsed lung and broken bones, the result of a surfing accident.
Shriver made the 911 call after her son's accident. Christopher was initially in the ICU, but he moved towards recovery while getting visits from dad Arnold, older brother Patrick and sister Christina. Shriver reportedly never left his side.
