LevineVMAsTwitter230.jpgMaroon 5 frontman and The Voice coach Adam Levine started a Twitter feud with MTV before the Video Music Awards on Sunday, but post-show he's got nothing to say!

The feud started on Saturday with this exchange:

Levine: "the VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. [expletive] you VMA’s."

MTV: "Soooo you’ll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? (BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!)"

Levine: "still waiting to have my ‘jerry macguire mission statement moment of deep regret…’ not happening. phew! ... i may be a pop singer. but every once in a while the angsty teenager in me just blurts out some raw honesty. it’s a reflex."

The VMAs ended around 11:15 PST Sunday night, and Levine has yet to give a review.

The show opened with a performance by Lady Gaga (dressed as her male alter ego), and included performances from Jay-Z and Kanye West, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and a tribute to Amy Winehouse ... along with a whole lot of the Jersey Shore cast sprinkled in. Tell us in our poll below -- what did you think of the show?
