Anti-Drugs Poster Featuring Amy Winehouse Causes Controversy

A Swedish poster featuring an unflattering photo of Amy Winehouse is stirring up outcry from her fans. The online poster, from youth political party SVP, reads, "No - to the decriminalization of drugs."
Winehouse died July 23 at age 27 ... but her cause of death has not yet been determined. Said party president Gregory Logean:
- "We are displaying a photo that the whole world already knows. Winehouse was known not only for her songs, but above all for her drug excesses."
It was announced Monday that Amy's name will also be used for something else -- but this usage has her family's approval. See what it is after the jump.
Now, the sportswear company says that, with the approval of Amy's family, the line will go forward. Said the brand, which had worked with Amy since last year:
- "After much consideration and with the blessing of Amy's family, Fred Perry has decided to release the AW11 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry Collection. Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece."
Amy Winehouse's father, Mitch, has also released a statement:
- "When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue. Amy loved working on both collections and would want them to be made available."
Amy's cut of any profits will go toward the charity her father is starting in her name. Fred Perry has promised to make a seasonal donation to the foundation.
