CharlieSheenLawsuit080311.jpgCharlie Sheen is seemingly playing Mr. Nice Guy ... for now.

A judge has allowed the embattled actor to dismiss his lawsuit against porn star Capri Anderson, according to the Associated Press.

Charlie had originally filed an extortion lawsuit against Capri (real name: Christina Walsh) after she went on Good Morning America to discuss the events of their wild evening at New York City's Plaza Hotel last October. The former Two and a Half Men star claims Capri locked herself in the bathroom after stealing his $165,000 watch ... for which he was also seeking reimbursement. Capri's take is that Charlie tried to choke her but she slipped away.

Just because Mr. Sheen has dropped the lawsuit doesn't mean that the situation is over. Charlie's lawyers withdrew the papers "without prejudice" Friday, meaning they can re-file at any time.

Because, really, what fun would it be if this entire mess was simply over and done with?

The dropped suit isn't the only surprising news from Charlie this week. Find out what he had to say about ex Denise Richards ... after the jump.
