Jennifer Lopez will be returning to American Idol as a judge for "a smidge over" $20 million, according to The Wrap.
Sources tell the site that Lopez went into the negotiations with a $20 million base minimum, and by the time negotiations were finished, the amount went even higher.
Last year, JLo was paid $12 million to sit at the judges' table next to Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson. Although Fox has already hammered out the details for Lopez's contract, she has yet to sign on the dotted line.
In addition to Idol, Lopez will be starring in What to Expect When You're Expecting due out in May 2012. Also, just last month, she and husband of 7 years, Marc Anthony, called it quits.
Speaking of her failed marriage, read what Jennifer told Vanity Fair about her split ... after the jump.
