Supermodel Linda Evangelista has filed for $46,000 a month in child support from Salma Hayek's husband, billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault.
Evangelista made the request in Manhattan Family Court on Monday, reports The New York Post.
Pinault (left, with Hayek) CEO of the conglomerate that owns Gucci, is the father of Evangelista's 4-year-old son, Augustin James. But, he has never paid Evangelista any support. He has been married to Salma Hayek since February 2009 -- they have 3-year-old daughter Valentina together.
"He's [Pinault] just been sitting back, paying zero," Evangelista's lawyer, William Beslow told Support Magistrate Matthew Troy.
"That would probably be the largest support order in the history of the Family Court," Troy said.

While the sum does seem large, the Post reports that Pinault spends far more on Valentina a month -- he spends $50,000 monthly alone on a $12 million Los Angeles estate held in trust in Valentina's name. Pinault is worth an estimated $11.5 billion.
Ultimately, Evangelista wants $80,000 a year for a full-time nanny. She explained:
- "On days when I do not work, I am working on my image. I have to hit the gym. I have beauty appointments. I have to work toward my next job and maintaining my image, just like an athlete. When I work, it can be a 16-hour day."
She also wants $175,000 a year for security -- security she says is necessary for the child of a billionaire.
Pinault's lawyer apparently grilled Evangelista and complained to the judge about her demands, pointing out that the supermodel is worth $8 million on her own.
The judge denied Evangelista's request for $7,500 a month in "vacation expenses," but seemed sympathetic on the security and nanny costs. Said the judge:
- "These are the extraordinary expenses that may be a part of the child's life. And if there is a trial [in the support case] with a lot of publicity, there will probably be a need for two detectives to drive this kid around."
Salma has stood by her husband's side since news first broke that he was the father of Envangelista's child.
