With that smile on his face, it appears at though the once-embattled Charlie Sheen is in a great place right now.

The former Two and A Half Men actor, who enjoyed a late night dinner with friends at Japanese restaurant Izakaya in Los Angeles, gave us a wave on his way out.

Earlier in the day, Sheen had appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and he openly discussed getting fired from the CBS show. When asked if he was angry, Sheen told Jay, "No, no. I would have fired my a** too. Well, maybe not like they did."

Sheen also gave the following advice to Kutcher: "Make me proud, dude."

Charlie Sheen's Comedy Central Roast is set to air on Monday.
