FarrahLScover091511.jpgTeen Mom star Farrah Abraham is known for being tough, often making seemingly selfish decisions or fighting back with her parents on the MTV reality show.

But now she's made her most controversial move ever -- Farrah gave up her two-year-old daughter Sophia, at least for the time being.

The Council Bluffs, Iowa-native has been seen traveling the country during this season of Teen Mom, looking at potential schools and apartments in California, Arizona and Florida. On Tuesday's episode, Farrah struggled with the idea of moving to the Sunshine State to study, sobbing, "I would never leave [my daughter]."

But according to Life & Style, Farrah did.

The reality star has been studying in Fort Lauderdale for a few months now and did leave Sophia with her mother Debra Danielson back in Council Bluffs. She told the mag:

“I want her [Sophia’s grandmother] to be there for Sophia when I need to take care of my responsibilities, my education and earning an income for both of us.”

Farrah also says that Sophia is her number one priority, and she doesn't regret her decision because it's helping her get an education while growing "personally and emotionally." But she is torn by her decision, saying, “I’m tugged in many different ways daily -- but I don’t want to limit myself or Sophia.”
