Well, at least she's not yet another actress-turned-musician.
Kat Von D is putting her tattoo gun aside to begin recording her first album. Didn't think she was into music? Think again. The LA Ink star told E! News:
Jesse James' ex is known for juggling tons of projects at once -- she's already a tattoo artist, shop owner, fashion and makeup designer, and writer -- so adding an album to the mix shouldn't be tough. "I think it's much like tattooing or the TV show or makeup, my clothing line, fashion," she explained. "All those things, they're just different outlets to be able to be creative. So music, I think it's going to be one of those things."
Kat already had one song penned for her, Eagles of Death Metal's 2007 tune "High Voltage," but we can't wait to what the tattoo artist will do herself!
Kat says her sound will be "more on the dark, more tragically romantic [side]," but don't think she'll bet trash talking her ex through the tunes -- or through any other outlet. Yesterday she Tweeted, "No, my next book will not be about my cheating ex. There are way too many positive and inspiring things to write about instead."Kat Von D is putting her tattoo gun aside to begin recording her first album. Didn't think she was into music? - "I've been passionate about music all my life. I've been playing classical piano since I was six. So I understand the form, but it will be fun to be able to translate a message."
