David Beckham's five-year, $32.5-million contract with the LA Galaxy is up on December 31, and the LA Times reports that he's seriously considering playing for the Paris Saint-Germain soccer team.

The team's owners are reportedly offering Beckham around $1 million a month for 18 months, and various French news outlets claim that the deal is "95% complete." The Galaxy can't match the offer, but the Major League Soccer organization has made it clear in the past that they'd be willing to give Beckham an ownership stake in a future soccer franchise if he stays with the Galaxy.

Additionally, Galaxy Coach Bruce Arena said Beckham's departure is "certainly not a done deal," adding, "I think the Galaxy are very much interested in bringing David back. It will be David's decision, but we're keenly interested in keeping the player here."

Last night we spotted David, wife Victoria and their four children flying to London for the holidays, and while the soccer star recently said he would probably would wait until after Christmas to announce where he will play next season, a member of Beckham's camp said yesterday that the news could come as early as next week. We're curious to see what happens!
