EAndrewsELysacek071510_09_X.jpgESPN reporter Erin Andrews has filed a $10 million invasion of privacy lawsuit against Marriott and Michael Barrett, the man who videotaped her through the peephole of her hotel room back in 2008.

Andrews is suing for damages ... $6 million against Marriott and $4 million against Barrett.

The lawsuit, filed in Nashville, says the following:

"The unknowing and unwelcome filming of (Andrews) while she was changing and the further dissemination of unauthorized, private videos of (Andrews) in the hotel rooms has caused and continues to cause her great emotional distress and embarrassment."

In the suit, it also claims Barrett was told by Marriott staff as to the whereabouts of Andrews' hotel room. He was then able to book the room right next door.

Barrett reportedly videotaped Andrews through peepholes at numerous hotels in various states.
