Ben Stiller looks like he had a rough day at the office!

The Tropic Thunder star was shooting his latest project, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, in NYC over the weekend when he was spotted holding a street sign with some cuts and bruises for one of the scenes.

The movie, in which Stiller is also directing, revolves around a mild-mannered magazine photo editor who goes off in search of a negative. With other names like Sean Penn, Shirley MacLaine and Kristen Wiig in the mix, there's certainly some star power in the upcoming comedy!

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty hits theaters sometime in 2013.
