Kanye West Leads BET Nominations

Kanye West is having an incredible year!Not only is the singer rekindling his romance with Kim Kardashian, he has also earned the most nominations for the 2012 BET Awards this year. The rapper received seven nods, with six coming from his "Watch the Throne" collaboration with Jay-Z, who earned five noms.
New mom Beyonce came in just behind Kanye, and just before her hubby, with six nominations, including Best Female Artist, Video of the Year for "Countdown."
Angela Bassett Viola Davis and Zoe Saldana are up for Best Actress, while Don Cheadle, Common, and Denzel Washington earned Best Actor nods.
The BET Awards will air live from LA on July 1 at the Shrine Auditorium, with Samuel L. Jackson is set to host, and Chris Brown, who's up for Best Male Artist, and Nicki Minaj confirmed to perform at the show.
