Bad news for Tom Cruise!
Despite the hype surrounding Rock of Ages, the big screen adaption of the '80s Broadway rock musical took the number three spot and a paltry $15.1 million at the weekend box office.
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted held on to the top spot with $35.5 million, and Prometheus stayed snagged the number two spot with $20.2 million.
Cruise's flick wasn't the only flop this weekend. The Adam Sandler comedy That's My Boy grossed $13 million, which marks the actor's worst opening for a comedy in eight years. Yikes!
Glad everyone enjoyed Prometheus though!
