At first glance we thought Pete Wentz was looking completely miserable when we snapped him and girlfriend Meagan Camper at a Fourth of July bash over the weekend, but it looks like a few sips from a Solo cup were all he needed to perk up:

We're guessing ex-wife Ashlee Simpson was on mommy duty this weekend with their son Bronx Mowgli, so lucky Pete got to party it up in Malibu with a bunch of his emo friends. This morning Pete tweeted, "woke up to the apple pinwheel of death spinning in my brain. still tired." Sounds like someone had a little too much fun yesterday!
