65% of the Twilight fans we polled last week said they couldn't forgive Kristen Stewart for cheating on boyfriend Robert Pattinson with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, but it seems like movie producers are willing to give her a chance when it comes to her career.

Vulture reports that Stewart has beat out Oscar nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence and landed a role in Lie Down in Darkness, an adaptation of William Styron's gritty novel. Stewart will play Peyton Loftis, "a young woman in 1950s Virginia desperate to escape the confines of her extremely dysfunctional home life."

Summit Entertainment recently stated that they are "moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November's opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2," and when asked about the Snow White sequel, a source at Universal told Vulture that "nothing has changed and we are still looking at sequel options that would include Rupert [Sanders] directing."

She may have ruined the romance of the century, but it looks like she'll still be able to earn a living!
