When a video of Miley Cyrus smoking salvia out of a bong hit the web back in 2010, she was scrutinized for her behavior, but after reading the headlines about the young starlet, it was then that superproducer Pharrell Williams decided he wanted to work with her!

A few new quotes from Miley's Marie Claire interview have hit the web, and the 19-year-old gives the details on how it all went down. Miley tells the mag, “Pharrell said, 'Don’t be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought], That b*tch is actually living. She’s not sitting there with her Momager’s chain on her door. I want to free that b*tch. I want her out of her cage.'"

"I'd never worked like that before," Miley added. "I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track. [I told my new manager, Bruce Flohr], ‘I don’t need the money. I don’t care if I make a dime on this. Let me make a good record.’ I got in there with Pharrell, and it was magic. Oh, dude, I’m so happy.”

According to E! News, Miley has been working on a new studio album for some time now, and it's set to be "very adult and sexy and believable". A source close to Miley tells the show, "We are watching a young girl turn into a young woman."

We can't WAIT to hear new music from Miley!
