She's officially in trouble with the law... again!

Charges have been filed against Lindsay Lohan for lying to cops in connection with her PCH car crash last June.

X17 was the FIRST to report that Lindsay had lied about not being behind the wheel the day her Porsche crashed into a semi-truck on the PCH highway in Santa Monica on her way to the Liz & Dick set , and now she has been charged with three misdemeanors by prosecutors.

The rehabbed redhead has been slapped with obstructing or resisting a police officer, providing false information to a police officer, and reckless driving. Lohan initially told investigators that her assistant Gavin Doyle was the driver of the vehicle, but "during the subsequent investigation, information was developed that Lohan was the driver of the Porsche when the accident occured," according to a Santa Monica police statement.

This, along with her arrest in NYC this morning, is a huge setback for the actress, who is on probation until May 2014 for her two DUI arrests and necklace theft case. She was warned back in March by Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner that if she broke any laws before her informal probation expired, she could face jail time.

Sounds like Lilo better be ready for orange jumpsuits and bologna sandwiches!
