bieber-smoking-tweets.jpgAfter photos hit the web on Friday of Justin Bieber allegedly smoking marijuana at party in a Newport Beach hotel room, the singer has taken to his Twitter to speak out about the incident.

The 18-year-old pop superstar tweeted on Saturday, "Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up. back on tour tomorrow. ready to see u all smile. time to do what im supposed to be doing. performing ... i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u. #beliebers."

Bieber later added, "Like i said...2013...new challenges. new doubters...Im ready. We are ready. see u all tomorrow and everyday after that." While he didn't directly comment on TMZ's photos of him holding what appears to be a large blunt, a source tells Us Weekly his management team "isn't happy about those photos. They are grilling security about who could have taken them."

The pictures were reportedly taken on January 2, just one day after a paparazzo was killed while trying to snap photos of the singer in his white Ferrari. It has been reported that the photog got a tip that Bieber was smoking in the car, and though Bieber's camp hasn't responded to those claims, the singer did offer his condolences. "While I was not present nor directly involved with this tragic accident," he said in a statement. "My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the victim."
