At least someone's in her corner!

Following the now-famous scathing New York Times article blasting Lindsay Lohan for her on-set antics, Canyons co-star James Deen is coming to her defense and denying it was a nightmare to work with the troubled actress.

After the film director Paul Schrader accused Lohan of various instances of unprofessional behavior, many assumed her co-stars were equally annoyed with her diva behavior. Not so, says Deen himself.

"I think she was great to work with, I never had any issues with Lindsay. But I don't have to deal with the Hollywood bullsh-t aspect of the film... I enjoyed her on a personal level," he explains.

Just how personal did the two get, however? Could this porn star-turned-actor see himself dating the rehabbed redhead?

"Let's say, hypothetically we wanted to date after filming - which was not the case - she, as a person, was great. But we don't like to do the same things. My idea of a good Friday night is sitting on the couch with my buddies. Lindsay can't even go to Starbucks. She's so famous that she literally cannot just go out. She has to be snuck in through a secret passage so the paparazzi don't get to her... That would stop us from being a successful couple, nothing else," he adds.

Although there was speculation that Deen and Lohan's raunchy sex scene was real, the actor insists it was all smoke and mirrors.

"We didn't have sex. Yes, it's a four-way. Sure, you see boobs and ass... It's a plot driver, and it was shot in a way where you're not thinking it's just four people having sex," he confessed.

We thought for sure these two had at least one wild night of passion at the Chateau Marmont!
