Conor Kennedy Arrested Outside Of The White House During Climate Change Protest

Conor Kennedy was arrested on Wednesday afternoon when he participated in a peaceful climate change protest outside of the White House in Washington, D.C.
Kennedy, 18, joined dozens of other individuals (including his father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and actress Daryl Hannah) who were are trying to get President Barack Obama to reject the proposed Keystone XL tar sands pipeline, which they say would carry "dirty oil" into the United States.
RFK Jr., who is the president of Waterkeeper Alliance, said in a statement, "It's unfortunate that civil disobedience is the only recourse against a catastrophic and criminal enterprise that will enrich a few while impoverishing the rest of humanity and threatening the future of civilization."
Hey, at least he's making headlines for something besides his brief romance with serial dater Taylor Swift!
