Maria was spotted shopping at Malibu Country Mart with her children Patrick and Katherine and their friends yesterday while sporting a giant rock on her ring finger.

The couple separated in 2011 after 25 years of marriage, but have not officially divorced. The two have been spending quality time together in recent weeks. The happy family attended their daughter Christina's Georgetown graduation last week and was all smiles for the camera.

Maria looked stylish in white pants, a pin-striped blazer, and cat-eye sunglasses, but her huge sapphire and diamond ring was the highlight of her outfit. It looks like the journalist is already camera ready. She will be returning to NBC as a "special anchor" after almost a decade of absence. The mother of four will cover women's issues.
