Penelope Cruz Gives Birth To Daughter The Same Day As Royal Baby

Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem welcomed a baby daughter Monday, their rep confirmed to Hello! magazine.

The Spanish actress gave birth to her little girl the same day as the royal baby, but don't count on nearly as much fanfare surrounding the Vanilla Sky star's infant.

"I want my son and my kids - if I have more - to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible. The fact that his father and I have chosen to do the work we do doesn't give anybody the right to invade our privacy," she previously said about raising children in the public eye.

The name of their daughter has not yet been released. The couple are also parents to son Leo.
