Angus T. Who? Likely filling the new void on Two And a Half Men, CBS has announced that Amber Tamblyn has been cast on the hit show as Jenny Harper, the illegitimate lesbian daughter of Charlie Sheen's character, the late Charlie Harper. The former Joan of Arcadia actress will have a recurring role in five episodes with an option to become a series regular for the show's 11th season.

To work Tamblyn into the show, the 30-year-old's character will arrive at the home of Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) and Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) in search of her father, whom she learns has unfortunately died/aka had a meltdown of crazy in 2011 and the show's creators had to kill him off. If viewers like Tamblyn, the plan would be to make her a permanent fixture in the Schmidt/Harper household.

Show creator Chuck Lorre explained at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour in July why they chose to add a woman to replace Angus T. Jones:

"I think it would be great to have a voice on the show from a different perspective. The show has had enough testosterone to last a lifetime ... Part of the fun in this has been creating a character that is equal to the task of stepping on the stage with Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher. That's a big job. The idea of the character brings a healthy amount of decadence, which is always fun on Two and a Half Men."

A Seventh Day Adventist, Jones' departure from the sitcom was announced in May, following months of rumors that he was leaving the show after posting a controversial YouTube video in November 2012, in which he called the show filth and warned viewers not to watch. Never a smart move for the star of a show! Jones later apologized for the video -- but the damage had been done.

With all these cast changes -- Two and a Half Men is looking more like Sisterhood of the Traveling Sitcom!
