While Charlie Hunnam may be Dakota Johnson's soon-to-be leading man in the 50 Shades of Grey adaptation, the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith already has a main man off screen. It turns out that the 23-year-old has been in a longterm relationship with Jordan Masterson, who comes for a very high profile Scientology family, for quite some time.

Dakota seems very enmeshed in Jordan's family, which is heavily into the Church of Scientology. Last week, Jordan's sister Alanna Masterson congratulated the Ben and Kate actress via Twitter after the casting news broke, writing, "Everyone is so proud of you Dakota’.

Jordan, 27, and Alanna,  25, have been Scientologists since childhood. Jordan's father Joe, a Beirut-born former Australian rugby league player, joined Scientology in 1978 and in 1985 he married fellow Scientologist Carol Masterson, the mother of actors Danny and Christopher Masterson, who are Jordan's half brothers.

Despite being raised in Scientology, Jordan and Alanna have not in nine years, since he was ex-communicated by the controversial church.

Dakota has had some troubles in her young life; she reportedly went to rehab at the age of 17. In September 2007, it was reported that the then-teen completed a 30-day inpatient rehab program at the Visions Teen Treatment Center in Malibu for drug and alcohol addiction.

We have wonder what the mysterious church and the Mastersons think of Dakota's racy role in EL James' best-selling S&M trilogy?

Church founder L Ron Hubbard wrote that pain and sex are both "invented tools of degradation" by "destructive creatures" with the intention "to shrink people and cut their alertness, knowingness, power and reach."

Yikes! L Ron doesn't sound like he would be a ball of fun in the sack. Going by those views, we guess L Ron wouldn't have been a big 50 Shades fan. Too bad -- 'cause we can't wait to see Dakota tied up!
