Paul Walker was working on several films at the time of his tragic death over the weekend, one of which, Hours, is set to be released on December 13.

In the film Walker plays a father trying to keep his infant daughter alive after Hurricane Katrina, and the trailer made the rounds on the internet over the weekend.

It seems as though Walker got involved with the project due to his own personal interest in helping the victims of natural disasters. Walker created the non-profit organization Reach Out Worldwide after seeing the devastation from the Haiti earthquake in January of 2010, and he also helped victims from the 2010 Chile earthquake and the Oklahoma City tornado in June.

When he died, Walker was attending a toy drive in Santa Clarita, California to raise money for the thousands of people in the Philippines affected by the recent typhoon.
