Nicole Richie's Lavender Locks Are Fading Fast

With each day that goes by, this is beginning to look like more of a mistake than a fresh new 'do! #sorrynotsorry...
On Friday Nicole Richie stepped out in West Hollywood to go shopping with a pal, and X17 photographers snapped the reformed party princess showing off her colorful locks outside of Roseark. Nic has tried out everything from blonde to brunette over the years, and while this was neat the first day she did it, we're seriously hoping she hightails it back to the salon ASAP to go back to a more natural hue.
And speaking of purple-haired hotties, we caught newly single Ireland Baldwin showing off her copycat tresses (and a box of tampons) yesterday afternoon as well:
