Justin Bieber is currently being detained and questioned by United States customs officials at Los Angeles International Airport after jetting in from Japan, X17online can report exclusively.

The 20-year-old singer's entourage and driver are waiting outside of the Tom Bradley International terminal right now, and Bieber is still stuck inside being questioned. The pop star arrived on a Singapore Air flight from Tokyo around 1:30pm, but as of 3:15pm he had yet to exit the airport.

One of Bieber's bodyguards chatted with X17 photographers and said, "I have no idea what's going on in there -- we're just waiting. But it's been more than an hour and a half now." We're told that other passengers on the plane already cleared customs, so it appears as though it's just Justin who's being held up.

This isn't the first time Bieber has been grilled by officers at LAX -- as you may remember, back in November, the singer's private jet was searched by customs agents after he returned from the South American leg of his Believe Tour. Back in April of 2013 his tour bus was raided by Swedish police, and authorities found a "small amount" of what appeared to be marijuana. Think this has to do with those reports that Bieber is getting deported or did he just get himself into even more trouble with something else?

And this isn't the only drama the Biebs has stirred up this week! On Tuesday he posted a photo of himself at the Yasukuni Shrine, but he apparently had no idea that the landmark honored war criminals! Once he realized his mistake, he took a photo of a Time article slamming him for the visit and posted an apology on Instagram. "While in Japan I asked my driver to pull over for which I saw a beautiful shrine. I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer. To anyone I have offended I am extremely sorry. I love you China and I love you Japan," he wrote.

UPDATE - As of 5:30pm PT, Justin is STILL being questions by immigration officials inside the international terminal at LAX!
