Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell are ending their marriage, reports Us Weekly.

"Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell have decided to separate," a rep for the couple said in a statement. "They both love and respect one another and will of course remain committed to co-parenting their son. This is a mutual decision and the two remain close friends."

Just after noon, the Wrestler star tweeted, "Twitter break for a while. ...to be continued." Looks like the 26-year-old needs a break after dropping the break-up bombshell.

The duo, who first met in 2004 while on set of Green Day's music video "Wake Me Up When September Ends." The two tied the knot eight years later in October 2012 and eventually welcomed a son, whose name has never been revealed, last July.

In November, she opened up to the mag about being a mother, saying, I've been having separation anxiety because I’m so used to him being right here all the time. They kind of become a part of you, you know? It was my dream to be a mom, so I'm loving it. I love it."

We can't tell a lie -- we aren't shocked by this. Evan's been spending a lot of time with some lovely lesbian ladies, Phoebe Dahl and Ruby Rose recently -- so we kind of thought that the openly bisexual star's relationship with the Brit was on the skids.

The Thirteen star publicly announced her bisexuality three years ago in Esquire magazine.

"It was just such a weight lifted," she said about coming out as bi. "I did it because it’s a huge part of who I am. I wanted people to really know me. I also wanted - to inspire people to be who they are. Maybe help another struggling terrified 12 year old know its ok.

Hmm ... we are definitely wondering if Evan's next love match will be a lucky lady!
