Joan Rivers' doctors have been working since Sunday to bring the 81-year-old out of a medically induced coma following her hospitalization last Thursday, and daughter Melissa gave the public another update on the comedienne's condition today.

"My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support," she said in a statement. The Fashion Police host stopped breathing from complications due to an outpatient procedure on her vocal cords last week and was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she was placed on life support .
