Amanda Bynes' parents are happy that their daughter is in a safe place.

The troubled actress went on a voluntary 72-hour psychiatric hold at a Los Angeles treatment facility on Friday, and her parents Lynn and Rick Bynes are said to be breathing some sighs of relief after the last few weeks of Amanda's increasingly alarming behavior.

"They're happy she's safe and that Amanda is finally getting some help," a source told People magazine.

On Friday, the Sydney White star flew from New York to Los Angeles and was then driven from the airport to a Pasadena treatment center, where she is still in treatment as of Monday morning, reports the mag.
