It's been a big day for celeb babies! Actor Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan have welcomed a baby girl, reports People.

The couple has one son together, Exton Elias, who was born in 2011. Downey also has a 21-year-old son, Indio, from a previous marriage.

Last week at the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards, the 49-year-old actor talked of his soon-to-be daughter during his acceptance speech for the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. Iron Man said, “It’s just the uncertainty of how nowadays you have all these things where you think you have much more of an understanding of what you’re going to get."

Downey continued, “And then this little soul lets herself be known to you, and it’s just like: You don’t know anything. It’s great!”


Meanwhile, Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland welcomed her first child with hubby Tim Witherspoon yesterday.

Titan Jewell Witherspoon was born at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and weighed in at 7.5 lbs.

The sultry singer said in a statement, “We are thrilled to announce that today we are the proud parents of our first son."

In September, the then-expectant mother told People mag, “When the baby gets here, it’s not just one baby. I have two babies now. My husband and the baby — you have to take care of both."

Rowland looked said "I do" to her manager and fiance Tim Witherspoon on May 9 in Costa Rica.
