Get ready, Miley Cyrus fans -- the turnt-out singer is back in the studio!

The "Wrecking Ball" singer posted an Instagram vid of her recording in the studio over the weekend -- and it looks like the wild child is teaming up with the Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne.

Along with the psychedelic sounding diddy, Miley wrote, "studioooooooooooooo @waynecoyne5 @katyweaver @cheythom @vijatm #turnted."

Miley isn't the only one who seems jazzed about the new collab. The iconic 54-year-old snapped a pic of Miley from his studio sesh on Saturday, writing, "With @mileycyrus at 4:00am... Good vibe..."

Yeah we bet Miley brings A LOT of good vibes ...

In a recent interview with Billboard, Coyne talked about working with the twerking star, saying he wasn't sure what to expect.

Coyne said, "At the moment we just sort of work on things as they come up, so part of this seems like something we're working on with Miley, but we're also working on it as a production."

"I almost think it might be the series of songs that are Miley Cyrus songs, Flaming Lips songs on her record, then there's the series of the same songs on our record. Ours sound like the Flaming Lips and hers sound like Miley Cyrus, but they're the same songs," he explained.

We gotta say -- we love the Flaming Lips and we love Miley (well at least we really like "Wrecking Ball") but we are soooo not loving this!

Maybe they should work less on the "vibes" and more on the music?!
