Harrison Ford is back in the saddle!

The Indiana Jones star hit the friendly skies Thursday morning for a helicopter flight to Catalina Island less than three months after suffering a serious plan crash.

Back on March 5, the aviation enthusiast crashed his vintage fighter plane onto Penmar Golf Course in Venice, Calif. after taking off from Santa Monica Airport -- the same private airport he took off from today. In that accident, Ford was found bleeding and had suffered multiple gashes to his head. Two doctors happened to be playing the course and rushed over to offer treatment to the actor until emergency personnel arrived. The 72-year-old was then transported to a nearby hospital.

Today, the actor took off with a co-pilot around noon, looking confident and happy to get back into the pilot's chair. Looks like the crash won't keep him away from doing what he loves!
