Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William have welcomed their second child, a daughter, whose name is yet to be released. The princess arrived at 8:34 a.m. after two-and-a-half hours at St. Mary's Hospital in London.

The Palace confirmed the news on Twitter:
    "Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8:34 a.m. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."


The baby will be fourth in line to the throne, with 21-month-old Prince George third in line and William's brother Prince Harry now fifth.
