Between the embryo drama with her former fiance Nick Loeb to the fact that her latest movie didn't get the most favorable reviews, Sofia Vergara has had quite a stressful month! Yet here she is, smiling for the cameras while shopping for furniture in Beverly Hills...

On Sunday the 42-year-old actress stopped by Minotti with a pal, and just two days earlier a judge had ruled that Loeb does have the right to sue Vergara for custody of their embryos. The former couple had two embryos created through in vitro fertilization just six months before they split, and though the lawsuit was first filed in August 2014, it has been amended as Loeb has retained new legal representation.

Vergara's attorney, Fred Silberberg, accused Loeb of filing the lawsuit for attention. "It is almost a sham pleading under the law," Silberberg told reporters outside of the Santa Monica courthouse on Friday. Loeb's attorney Christina Goodrich says that's not the case. "He does believe that they are his daughters," she said.

Earlier this month Sofia chatted about the battle on ABC News and said, "I really want to make this, like, the last time I talk about it because I don’t think it’s fair. I promote all my movies, all my work, but I don’t like promoting my private life and I don’t understand why this person…I don’t want to allow this person to take more advantage of my career and try to promote himself and get press for this."
