Parenthood isn't so breezy for Breezy!

Chris Brown is really trying to step up and be a good dad -- which means protecting his daughter Royalty from any bad influences (and we aren't talking about Brown himself).

The rapper is reportedly trying to battle for joint custody of his daughter with Nia Guzman by claiming her live-in boyfriend, whose name is King Ba, should not be around his daughter because he is a wanted man, claims TMZ.

According to the outlet, the singer, who is a felon, will be countering Guzman's attempt to have full custody of the one-year-old.

Reportedly, King Ba, who is listed on Royalty's birth certificate under his given name Brazil Reisling, was has been charged with forging more than $5,000 worth of U.S. Treasury checks and is currently wanted by police.

TMZ is stating that Brown is afraid it's unsafe for his daughter to be around Ba and is planning to demand equal parenting rights when he appears in court in mid September.

Conversly Guzman says she is no longer dating Ba and worries that the rapper will put Royalty in danger or may use drugs in front of the baby.

In addition, the controversial superstar has filed documents to establish Royalty's paternity, which would likely allow him to have joint custody of his daughter. A judge has yet to rule on the paternity case.

We think it's pretty interesting that Brown takes issue with Ba's forging charges when the 26-year-old has beat up his ex girlfriend Rihanna and served time for that felony assault case.

Maybe being a good dad will make Chris Brown be a good man? Stranger things have happened ...
