Reese Witherspoon (aka the whitest chick in Hollywood) is weighing in on the #Oscarssowhite controversy in a Facebook post. The 39-year-old Oscar winner sounded off on Time magazine's feature, "The Oscar Nominations Prove the Academy Still Doesn't Get It. I really appreciated this article in TIME on the lack of racial and gender diversity in this year's Oscar nominations."

She added, "So disappointed that some of 2015's best films, filmmakers and performances were not recognized. Nothing can diminish the quality of their work, but these filmmakers deserve recognition. As an Academy member, I would love to see a more diverse voting membership."

Witherspoon's comments are a reaction to the 2016 Oscar nominations' lack of diversity, which included nominating only white actors and actresses in the four main categories.

The bubbly blonde joins Whoopi Godlberg, Will Smith, Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett Smith, George Clooney and Lupita Nyong'o on her public dissatisfaction with the Academy and their picks this year.
